Wooden Serving Scoop

A hand-carved wooden scoop with a generous bowl and a beautifully weighted handle. Hand-carved by sculptor-chef Tom Muir in Te Miro, Waikato, from salvaged New Zealand native timber. The bowl is deep and generous, the handle weighted to sit just-right in the hand. We use these every service at Ahi — for rice, flour, coarse salt, anything that asks for a generous scoop. Each is one of a kind, with its own grain and quiet history. Salvaged NZ native timber. Approx. 18cm. Finished with food-safe plant-based oil/wax. Hand-wash only — never the dishwasher. Refresh occasionally with a little coconut oil if the timber dries.

$109.25 inc. gst
